Doctoral position in RNA and protein biochemistry
A PhD position is available to investigate novel mechanisms of
post-transcriptional processes. The focus is on a unique process of pre-RNA joining
(trans-splicing). The project aims at identifying the predicted "joinosome" in mitochondria of the marine micro-eukaryote Diplonema (Marande
& Burger 2007, Science 318:415).
More details on the
lab's research program are available.
