Hot peppers in vinegar
per l (jar) :
- 3 tsp salt
- 3 garlic cloves, a couple of fresh bay leaves.
- fill jar with hot peppers (stems and seeds removed) and carrot pieces
(few pieces, up to 1/2 of the jar)
- fill up with a mixture of good wine vinegar and water (1 : 1 y volume)
- sterilize in boiling water bath (big pot) for 20-30 min.
