MUJADDARAH (lentil vegeterian dish)
- 1/4 cup oil (preferably corn oil)
- 1 onion, chopped, fry in oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp all spice
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup brown lentils, pre-soaked; add, cover with water, simmer 5 min.
- 1/4 cup rice; add, stir once, leave simmering until rice is done.
Serve lukewarm, with Fattoush (Lebanese salad).
