Doctoral position in functional RNA and protein biochemistry
A PhD position is available to investigate novel mechanisms of
post-transcriptional processes,
with emphasis on the molecular machineries involved in RNA editing and
trans-splicing in mitochondria. The project aims at identifying the
trans-spliceosome and editosome of the model organism, Diplonema (Marande
& Burger 2007, Science 318:415).
More details on the
lab's reserach program are available.
